Patagonia Action Works
Thanks to a grant, Patagonia Action Works is a free way for Guardians to have Patagonia advertise our actions, events, or whatever else we choose on Facebook. We submit a request for them to amplify something, they create the ad, we approve the ad, and then they run the ad on Facebook.
How to use Action Works
Find the login to Action Works in the CS FAQ Dropbox document.
When logged in, you’ll have 3 options:
- Create event – Submit an event for Patagonia to highlight on social media
- Request action – Submit an action for Patagonia to highlight on social media. This is where your action alert would go.
- Expand your digital reach – a catch-all for everything else you want to promote.
Choose an option and fill in all the fields. It’s pretty self-explanatory.
Put your name and email in the contact name and email portion of the form. Patagonia will send you a test message to approve at the email address you put in. If you don’t receive and approve the test message, your ad will not run.
Patagonia will send you stats on how many people saw your ad after the ad is done running (for a couple of weeks, minimum).
