Before joining Wildlife Guardians, Peggy worked for a non-profit organization in the Denver area, first as a HR Business Partner with functions spanning from creating, developing, and implementing policies, training, and development, as well as leading organizational development programs and projects with a diversity, equity & inclusion focus. As HR Director, Peggy advised management and staff on the employee lifecycle: recruiting, compensation, benefits, training and development and employee relations.
Drawing from her experience in program management and as an international student from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Peggy operationalized a scholarship program for over 100 students from Africa for the Institute of Ag & Natural Resources in Lincoln, NE. Peggy earned a Master’s in Public Administration from Texas A&M before starting her HR career with a global manufacturer, working with global and cross-functional teams. She started in recruiting and her responsibilities quickly grew to include compensation, and skills development pathways.
Peggy earned her bachelor’s degree in international business at The University of Akron in Akron Ohio. She is a SHRM-CP professional with an Associate in Talent Development Certification. As HR Director, Peggy managed the HR function and advised management and staff on recruiting, compensation, benefits, training and development, and employee relations.
An avid photographer, Peggy enjoys traveling, writing screenplays, and directing films.
