Michelle Collier

Michelle’s professional background is in non-profit finance, operations, and accounting with fifteen+ years of supporting environmental activism, double-bottom-line capital ventures and public broadcasting organizations. Michelle graduated magna cum laude from Pepperdine University with a focus on the intersectionality of business administration, non-profit finance, and social good. “My career and education have been an intentional effort to support the social and environmental justice movement. I am excited to join the dedicated WildEarth Guardian team and the work this organization achieves to protect and restore the natural world for future generations.” In her capacity as Finance and Operations Director, she supports the organization with budgeting, forecasting, daily operations, and reviewing and upgrading internal processes and systems.

Beyond her professional achievements, Michelle is passionate about mentorship and actively participates in programs aimed at nurturing future leaders in the non-profit sector. Michelle hails from a small military community outside of Monterey, CA where many of her family still reside. She can be found hiking in the beautiful hills of the Eastbay, cooking traditional German dishes for her family or catching the latest spooky movie.
