On Saturday, WildEarth Guardians in Denver joined our brothers and sisters in D.C. and throughout the world in the Peoples Climate March.  It was a truly inspiring act of resistance to the climate deception being advanced by President Trump and his cronies.

In D.C, thousands began marching from the Capitol to the White House. When they got there, they surrounded President Trump’s residence and sat down for 100 seconds to protest his first 100 days of office — and his administration’s brutal environmental policy so far.

Case in point, on Friday, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency removed most climate change information from its website, saying in a statement that the language was updated to “reflect the approach of new leadership.”
Despite the snowy weather in Denver, people showed up in droves to call attention to the Administration’s climate deception.
We can and we must rise up to defend our planet and our future from the greed of the fossil fuel industry and their friends in the Trump Administration.  This past weekend was a stunning example of how much power we still wield and the underscored that we can overcome.
Our movement continues and it’s building.  Here are a few more photos of the Denver March if the weather kept you away that morning (some more here).  And if you haven’t seen it yet, check out the photos of Climate Marches from around the world.
