WildEarth Guardians restoration video 2018
Restoration at WildEarth Guardians
In 1996, Guardians began restoring southwestern streams and rivers polluted and fouled by livestock grazing, roads, and other destructive activities. Since then, we’ve planted more than one million trees and shrubs and restored hundreds of miles of streams. The way these landscapes rebound and flourish after our work keeps us coming back year after year. Watch the video below to see it for yourself.
“I find a lot of reward in knowing that when it’s time for me to set my boots down for a final time, I will have contributed to a large-scale restoration and healing of our landscape—something our children and our children’s children can go and visit and say, ‘my father was part of this.’” – Jim Matison, WildEarth Guardians’ Restoration Director
