Jennifer Dickson joined WildEarth Guardians as the Communications Director in 2022 with more than two decades of advocacy, multi-media, and strategic planning expertise. Jen has a deep understanding of the ever-changing media realm, how information is gathered and shared, and the connection between people and the protection of wild lands and waters. This passion for communications and storytelling began in her early days at a small town newspaper and then a stint at a local radio station in Texas while studying journalism and marketing in college. She built on her passion over the years by garnering attention and moving people and policymakers to action on environmental, energy and progressive issues from Washington DC to the West.
Jen is a member of the National Press Club and a media junky. When she isn’t reading/watching some kind of news piece or scrolling through social media, you can usually find her outdoors. Her home in the foothills of the Rockies in Evergreen, CO means that on any given weekend you can find her out in her garden, paddling on or sitting by a lake, hiking a trail, wandering the back roads, putting on a golf course, or planning her family’s next camping trip.
