Cheyanne Neuffer is a passionate environmentalist, writer and wildlife advocate. Growing up in rural Northern Nevada instilled a drive to protect and preserve the wild beauty of Nevada’s public land and wildlife. In 2018, Cheyanne graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and a minor in Cultural Anthropology. After college, Cheyanne moved to Lake Tahoe to pursue environmental journalism with the local newspaper and later became editor of the Tahoe Magazine. Cheyanne joined WildEarth Guardians in 2021 as the Nevada Wildlife Engagement Coordinator to help connect more Nevadans with the wildlife they share the state with.
